Abstract
The study was conducted from May 2023 to January 2023 in the City of Bacoor
Province of Cavite. This was conveyed to understand the employees of Sogo Hotel-
Molino to the impact of discrimination and diversity on the organization. This study is
designed to determine how diversity and discrimination impact the workplace,
specifically the hiring process, training and development, and performance
evaluation.
The researchers believed that this study would help work organizations
enhance their policies and guidelines for their hiring, training, development, and
performance evaluation, and also provide insights as a contribution to future
researchers to create a better, more inclusive future on the journey towards a
workplace free from discrimination.
The results indicated that 19 female participants made up the majority
(55.88%), followed by 15 male participants (44.12%). The respondents gave full
permission to use their data with the agreement that it will be used only for this study,
the researchers observed strict compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A.
No. 10173). The employees of Sogo Hotel-Molino strongly agreed that
discrimination in terms of race, gender identity, disability, and sexual orientation
has a very high level of impact in their workplace. The results of the Sogo Hotel-
Molino employees indicated that embracing and actively addressing diversity,
whether in terms of ethnic, religious, or cultural backgrounds, has a strong
agreement with these results, indicating that it has a high level of impact on
committing and creating an inclusive, harmonious workplace. Sogo Hotel-Molino
employees have a very high level of impact, indicating that discrimination and
diversity have a positive impact on the workplace when it comes to hiring, training
and development, and performance evaluation.
The researchers recommended that Sogo Hotel-Molino maintain and
enhance a diverse workplace where employees may freely express their skills and
knowledge without fear of discrimination or condemnation. They also suggested
that workplace introductions be promoted to increase talent diversity. 
Description
This research examines how workplace discrimination and diversity affect employee experiences and HR functions at Sogo Hotel–Molino. It provides actionable insights for improving hiring, training, and performance evaluation processes through inclusive strategies. The study supports policy enhancement and offers recommendations for cultivating an equitable workplace environment.
