Description
This undergraduate thesis explores the relationship between enhanced healthcare coverage policies and employee productivity within a business setting. Conducted at Emilu’s Mart Inc. in Bacoor City, Cavite, the study assessed the perceptions of 133 employees—composed of general and human resource staff—regarding the effectiveness of comprehensive healthcare services, including preventive, promotive, curative, rehabilitative, palliative, emergency, and general medical care. Using both descriptive and correlational quantitative research designs, the findings indicated strong employee agreement on the protective role of healthcare coverage in the workplace. However, statistical analysis revealed no significant direct correlation between the healthcare coverage policy and employee productivity metrics such as sales generated and labor hours. The study concludes that while enhanced healthcare policies contribute to worker well-being, they do not necessarily predict or influence productivity levels across demographic profiles.
