Abstract
This study, "Assessing the Marketing Strategies of Vape Shops Influencing Consumer Perception and Behavior: Basis for Formulating Health Education Programs," examines the influence of marketing strategies employed by vape shops in Molino, Bacoor City, Cavite. With a focus on advertisements, public relations, and sales promotions, the research investigates how these strategies influence consumer perceptions and behaviors, particularly among youth.
The descriptive-correlational design was utilized, involving 145 vape users surveyed across 14 selected vape shops. Results revealed that the majority of vape users were males aged 21–24. Sales promotions, including bundle deals and loyalty programs, demonstrated the highest influence on consumer engagement.
Despite this, marketing strategies showed no significant relationship with consumer perception and behavior, indicating that factors such as personal, relational, and environmental influences play a more substantial role.
The findings aim to contribute to public health by informing the development of targeted health education programs to mitigate the growing vaping trend among youth.
