Abstract
The E-commerce and Inventory System of PC Master Hub was developed to
provide a web-based system that allows the PC Master Hub to monitor inventory and
sales in real time for all branches, as well as expand their business reach. This study
was developed to address the problem and would help PC Master Hub to improve the
way they manage their sales and inventory reports per branches.
The researchers used the Fourth Generation Techniques (4GT) in the
development of the system. It consists of the following phases: Requirements
Gathering, Design Strategy, Implementation using 4GT and Testing. The system was
developed under Firebase Admin Node.js SDK version 11.5.0, used for the database
and JavaScript version 3.1.1 as the scripting language.
The system was evaluated using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
(WCAG) based on the given criteria: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and
Robust. Evaluators were composed of 30 PC Master Hub Customers, 7 PC Master
Hub Staff, and 10 IT Professionals.
The software evaluation had an overall general weighted mean of 4.36
interpreted as Excellent which means that the system passed all the given criteria in
the evaluation and met all the aimed features and functionality as well as the
requirements and objectives.
For future researchers, adding Online Payment System, downloadable price
list of all the products and messaging app in the system were recommended.
