Abstract
This study investigated the correlation between job burnout and job satisfaction
among private senior high school teachers in districts 1 and 2 of Bacoor, Cavite. It
determined the levels of job burnout and job satisfaction as well. The research includes
teachers from various private senior high schools in both districts of Bacoor, Cavite.
The sample size of 96 respondents was determined using the Cochran formula and
participants were randomly selected from 9 private schools. The age range of
respondents is between 23 and 40 years old, with 67 females and 29 males.
This is a correlational study that utilized Pearson correlation coefficient
(Pearson r) to examine the relationship between two variables which are job burnout
and job satisfaction among private school teachers. The computed Pearson r value is
-0.784, indicating a strong negative correlation between these two variables. This
strong negative correlation suggests that as job burnout decreases, job satisfaction
tends to increase among private school teachers. It only shows that when job burnout
is low, the job satisfaction is high. Therefore, the study establishes a significant and
marked relationship between job burnout and job satisfaction in the context of private
senior high school teachers in district 1 and 2 of Bacoor, Cavite.

Using a descriptive correlational design, the study sampled 96 teachers from nine private institutions. It aimed to identify whether a significant statistical relationship exists between the two variables. The study's findings revealed that teachers who experience lower levels of burnout tend to report higher job satisfaction, suggesting that addressing teacher burnout may improve retention and overall job performance.
