Abstract
This research sought to evaluate the relationship between self-
disclosure and psychological well-being among youth. Using selection, the
study had 96 participants in total. The major goal was to investigate the level of
self-disclosure and psychological well-being among youth and see if there was
a significant association between these variables.
The findings indicated that the overall level of self-disclosure among
youth participants was average, with a frequency of 72, representing 75% of
the sample. Similarly, the overall psychological well-being level was determined
to be average, with a frequency of 84, constituting 87.50% of the sample.
Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship between self-
disclosure and psychological well-being, as evidenced by a computed value of
0.222 and a p-value of 0.029. This suggests that variations in self-disclosure
patterns among youth are associated with changes in their psychological well-
being.
These results contribute to the evolving body of knowledge on the
correlation between the existing self-disclosure and psychological well-being
among the selected participants. Further research should explore the
underlying mechanisms and factors that influence self-disclosure and its impact
on the well-being of youth. Understanding these dynamics can inform the
development of targeted individuals and strategies to support the psychological
health and overall well-being of youth.

Description
This undergraduate thesis investigates the correlation between self-disclosure and psychological well-being among youth in Las Piñas City. Utilizing a sample of 96 participants, the study found that both self-disclosure and psychological well-being were at average levels among the respondents. A statistically significant relationship was identified between the two variables, suggesting that variations in self-disclosure are associated with changes in psychological well-being. The study recommends further research to explore the underlying mechanisms influencing this relationship and emphasizes the importance of psychological support strategies for youth.
