Abstract
The study was conducted from November 2023 to May 2024 at Bacoor, Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to (1) design the system to help the Department of
Computer Studies and students by developing a web application system and mobile application; (2) to develop the web application system and mobile application; (3) test the web-based system and mobile application system using alpha and beta testing;(4) evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the system using the adapted ISO 25010 evaluation instruments; and (5) prepare an implementation plan. The researchers used the Agile methodology. The android application was designed and developed using React Native with Visual Studio Code for IDE, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript used for web application system, Realtime Database, and some features in Hostinger. The android application and web application system was evaluated by 113 using the adapted ISO 25010 model as the evaluation instrument. The result yields a 4.24 total rating on the assessment of the software, which has an equivalent rating of “Very Good.” This proves that the application is useful to the end user and the Department of Computer Studies and helps them a lot regarding the event scheduling, attendance monitoring, and evaluation. The recommendations from evaluators are to make the app more interactive 
Description
This capstone project aimed to design and developed an Android-based and web-supported event scheduling, attendance monitoring, and evaluation system tailored for the Department of Computer Studies at Cavite State University – Bacoor City Campus. Conducted from November 2023 to May 2024, the system was developed using React Native, HTML/CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and Firebase with additional features hosted on Hostinger. Guided by the Agile methodology, the researchers implemented alpha and beta testing phases, followed by a performance evaluation using the ISO 25010 model. A total of 113 respondents assessed the system, yielding an overall score of 4.24, interpreted as “Very Good.” This indicates the system's usefulness in streamlining department events and monitoring functions. Recommendations for improvement included enhancing interactivity to further improve the user experience.
