Based Kiosk of Figaro Coffee Company (V-Central Mall Molino). Undergraduate

The study was conducted to develop an Android Based Kiosk of Figaro Coffee
Company (V-Central Mall Molino). The software was developed for the benefit of the
Figaro coffee Company use for menu ordering for their valuable customers. The Android
based kiosk system for ordering was more optimistic and elegant to the users because it
provided more fluid transaction compared to the manual operation in used. With the use
of kiosk android based application for menu ordering, the customers would not anymore
experience the non-automatic process of order operation and it would resolve the slow
process of ordering.
Fourth Generation Technique (4GT) methodology was used as the development
methodology of the system. It comprised of four phases namely; requirements gathering,
design strategy, implementation using 4GL, and testing.
The system was developed through the use of various development tools such as :
Mit App Inventor 2 for coding, Tiny Database for the system database, Adobe Photoshop
CS6 for the needed graphics, E-draw Max 8.4 for figures and Microsoft Office Word
2013 for the documentation of the study. Internet also used in gathering information
about the topic. Lastly, the researchers used Microsoft Word version 2016 for document
purposes.
Through purposive sampling, respondents were broken down as follows: Figaro
Staffs, Customers and IT Professionals. Furthermore, respondents evaluated the system
with the use of ISO 9126 as evaluation criteria.
The final weighted mean for all evaluation was 4.67 which interpreted as
“Excellent”. It showed that the Android Based Kiosk Of Figaro Coffee Company (V-
Central Mall Molino) was adequate for the need of the organization.
