The study was conducted to determine the consumer behavior in purchasing purified drinking water in Barangay Molino III Bacoor Cavite. Specifically, the study was designed to describe the socio-economic characteristics of the respondents who are purchasing purified drinking water, determine the brand of the purified drinking water, identify the factors that mostly influence the purchasing of purified drinking water and identify the problems encountered by consumers in purchasing purified drinking water.

The study involved one hundred (100) respondents, selected through systematic approach that served as respondents in the study. The respondents of the study came from barangay Molino III, Bacoor Cavite. Descriptive method was applied in order to identify and determining the consumer behavior in purchasing purified drinking water.

Results of the study shows that majority of the respondents were in the age of 30-38 with 36 percent. In terms of gender, the female respondents got the highest percentage with 60 percent. In terms of monthly income, most of the respondents are earning Php. 5,001 to Php 10,000 a month, and lastly in terms of educational attainment most of the respondents reached the college graduates with 40 percent.

In purchasing purified drinking water, 18 percent of the respondents prefer Crystal Clear.

Regarding the factors that influence consumers in purchasing purified drinking water, in terms of social influence, consumers strongly agreed that their family was the major concern in purchasing purified drinking water with weighted mean of 4.58; in terms of product attributes, consumers strongly agreed that the quality of water was the main factor to be considered and got the highest weighted mean of 4.54.

In terms advertising, consumers agreed that tarpaulin was the major component that influenced them in purchasing purified drinking water with an average weighted mean of 3.40.

In terms of motivation, consumers strongly agreed that affordability of the product was the major consideration on their preferred drinking water with a weighted mean of 4.56.

In terms of product preferences, free delivery was their first concern in purchasing purified drinking water with an average weighted mean of 4.37.

Among the problems encountered by the respondents, delay in terms of delivery got the highest percentage with 40 percent. Consumers encountered other problem such as out of stock and limited container.
