Abstract
Gender inequality refers to unequal treatment or perceptions of individuals based on
their gender. The most overt form of gender inequality is unequal pay or unfair
promotions. Unequal pay is typically a form of gender discrimination against women.
―A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it‘s in hot water.‖ –
Eleanor Roosevelt. Stated by Karapetyan Lusine (2018) Gender inequality is
particularly obvious in low-income countries and extremely poor households. Study
and analyze the gender discrimination, management and decision-making processes
related to unemployment and work motivation in labor market.

The result revealed is to reject the alternative hypothesis. Therefore, the study
concludes that there is no significant relationship between the existence of gender
Inequality and the work motivation in mid-level job. As perceived of the respondents
in terms of pay gap, hiring gap, leadership gap to reward and recognition,
development, leadership, work life balance and work environment.

The researchers recommend is to have seminar about the gender equality to educate
employees since the gender Inequality still persist in every society. To make sure that
organization aware what is gender inequality looks like and how to avoid it in the
workplace. Since the result is there is no significant relation between the existence of
gender inequality and the work motivation in mid-level job, the researchers realized
that nowadays employees does not allow gender inequality affect their work
motivation. Most significant motivator or even the motivational factor they first
mention in a conversation earning a living is a factor in any discussion about
employee motivation.
