Abstract
This study was conducted from August 2018 to June 2019 to determine the level of
awareness of Barangay San Nicolas III Bacoor City, Cavite on Child Labor. Specially, this study
was designed to describe the demographic profile of the respondents, identify the awareness
children, parents, and barangay official of Barangay San Nicolas III, Bacoor City, Cavite to
determine the significance relationship between the demographic profile of children, parents,
and barangay official of barangay San Nicolas III, Bacoor City, Cavite to identify the problems
encountered by the barangay San Nicolas III, Bacoor City, Cavite in promoting child labor law in
Barangay San Nicolas III, Bacoor City, Cavite.
According to the Slovin Formula used in computation of the size of papulation based on
its demographic profile in terms of age, sex, and civil status with 30.00% of the total number of
the respondents. In the terms of sex, most of the respondents are male with 57.69% of the total
number of the respondents. Lastly, most of the respondents in this research in terms of civil
status is the single with 70.77% of the total number of the respondents.
As regard to level of awareness in child labor in barangay San Nicolas III, Bacoor City,
Cavite the children have general weighted mean of 2.98 which means the children are aware in
child labor law, while the parents have general weighted mean of 2.51 which means the parents
is aware in child labor law, and lastly the barangay official has general weighted mean of 3.00
which means the barangay official are aware in child labor law. The overall weighted mean of
children, parents, and barangay official are 2.83 which means they are aware in child labor law in
barangay San Nicolas III, Bacoor City, Cavite.
On the problems encountered by the respondents of barangay San Nicolas III, Bacoor
City, Cavite in strengthened the level of awareness of child labor law in barangay San Nicolas
III, Bacoor City, Cavite is to have a similar about child labor law.

Description
This undergraduate thesis explored the level of awareness of children, parents, and barangay officials regarding child labor laws in Barangay San Nicolas III, City of Bacoor, Cavite. Conducted from August 2018 to June 2019, the study described the demographic profile of respondents and analyzed the relationship between demographic variables and awareness levels. Using descriptive statistics and the Slovin formula for sample size determination, the study found that overall, respondents were aware of child labor laws, with barangay officials demonstrating the highest awareness. The study identified key challenges in promoting child labor law awareness in the community and emphasized the need for consistent information dissemination.
