Abstract
The study determined the marking mix influencing student’s retention in STI College Bacoor Campus. Specifically, the study was designed to describe the socio-demographic profile of Students of STI College Bacoor Campus; to identify promotional tools used by STI College Bacoor Campus; to identify their marketing mix encountered by students of STI College Bacoor campus; to identify the factors influencing student’s retention of STI College Bacoor Campus; to determine the significant relationship between marketing mix encountered by the students of STI College Bacoor Campus towards Student’s Retention.
Based on the result and discussions of the study, most of the students in STI College Bacoor campus which age are ranged from 16 to 20 years old, most of them were make and stayed within 2 to 3 years long in the campus. In the promotional tools, the researchers recommended that STI College Bacoor campus should continue their publicity through commercials and pop-up ads in social media. The marketing mix is one of the basic foundations in any kinds of business specifically with the school. In terms of service, the researchers recommended that STI College Bacoor Campus should continue to be responsive in answering student’s inquiry and be approachable to build a good relationship. In terms of price, student satisfied in the offers of STI so that, they need to continue the teaching methods STI College Bacoor Campus should avoid hiring fresh graduate to provide good quality of education. In terms of promotion, STI College Bacoor campus continues to improve the advertisement or STI College Bacoor Campus make their own advertisement. Also, the commercial of promoting the STI School and pop-up ads directing to STI websites. In terms of place interpreted as “strong agree” were the majority of respondents said that the STI College Bacoor has good ambiance. Some of the branches of STI College Bacoor Campus near the shopping mall.
In this study, it showed that all factors determining the retention of the students in STI College have a significant relationship in terms of service, price, place, and Promotion.
Therefore, the researcher recommends that the school should maintain the cleanliness and good ambiance of the facilities and equipment in the campus, secure the student’s safety inside the campus also the service quality by approaching the student properly and maintain also giving the discounts, freebies and loyalty awards for loyalty programs.
