Abstract
This thesis assess to answered specifically, first is the perception of criminology students on having a separate comfort room for LGBTQ+, second is the challenges encountered by the LGBTQ+ for having a separate comfort room, lastly is the recommendation of the students to address the challenges encountered by the LGBTQ+ for having a separate comfort room. This was conducted from June 2022 to June 2023. This was conducted to identify the Perception of Criminology Student on Having a Separate Comfort Room for LGBTQ+ in Cavite State University Bacoor Campus specifically, to know the insights of the students about LGBTQ+ having a
separate comfort room, the challenges might encountered by them for having it, and to know the possible measures to address the encountered challenges.

The researchers used in this study a qualitative method which focuses on gathering and analyzing a non-numerical information of data. The researchers used Phenomenological approach to be able to gain deeper insights about the perception of the students towards LGBTQ+, the challenges that encountered by them for having it, and to know the possible measures to address the encountered challenges in Cavite State University Bacoor Campus.

The researchers used purposive sampling technique which they will rely on their discretion in choosing the respondents to participate in the study. The participants of this study relies on should be the member of LGBTQ+ community. The researchers used interview guide questionnaires with open-ended questions to the respondents which is under their approval.

The results of the study, LGBTQ+ people are belong to the community that has a common interest, perspectives and partly in their culture. Having a separate comfort room for the LGBTQ+ community are not pleasantly to have in the reason that it makes feel them that they are more different than the other people which makes them feel bad. There are possible challenges that might encounter by the LGBTQ+ people when the separate comfort room happens such as the discrimination and being unaccepted by the other people. LGBTQ+ community only want acceptance by the other people and not building separate comfort room for them that might cause another thing to detach them from other people.

Most of the participants recommends the possible solutions on addressing the encountered challenges by the LGBTQ+ community for having a separate comfort room are continued to use the standard comfort room that we commonly have in our community. Furthermore, the researchers recommends in this study that information dissemination are the very important way on addressing the challenges encountered by the LGBTQ+ for having a separate comfort room in order to broaden the ideas and have a deeper understanding about LGBTQ+ community. The future researchers should consider the number of respondents, and the side of other people not belong to LGBTQ+ community in order to avoid the biased views. There were deeper findings in this topic and develop more comprehensive recommendation in
the future.
