Abstract

The study was conducted to develop a Clinic Management Information System of Good Pharma Diagnostic with Barcode Scanner. The software was developed for the benefits of the doctor and clinic staff. The system provided functionality that would allow the administrator and the users manage all the information of the patients and clinic staff for the purpose of producing a system that could automate all the transactions. The system also provided account for the administrator and other users to manage and monitor the transaction of the system. Generation of the reports was also provided by the system.
Iterative and Incremental Development Methodology was used in the methodology of the software. In addition, the system have six stage. Planning Stage; System Requirement; Analysis and Design; Implementation; and Testing Evaluation.
The system was developed through the use of various development tools of Visual Basic Studio.Net was used as the programming language, Microsoft MySQL Community Server as the system database manager, Adobe Photoshop...
The system was evaluated based on given criteria: functionality; reliability; usability; efficiency, and maintainability were composed of doctor's clinic and staff, IT professional. All the given criteria of the evaluation and targeted features and functionality of the system as well as the requirements and objectives were met.
Upon the evaluation the Clinic Management Information System of Good Pharma Diagnostic with Barcode Scanner gained a weighted mean of 4.15 for Usability denoting "Very Satisfactory." Efficiency with a weighted mean of 4.15 for Usability denoting "Very Satisfactory". Efficiency with a weighted mean of 4.15 denoting 'Very Satisfactory". Maintainability with a weighted mean of 4.28 denoting "Excellent". And portability with a weighted mean of 3.98 denoting " Very Satisfactory". Clinic Management Information System of Good Pharma Diagnostic with Barcode Scanner got the total mean of 4.08 denoting "Very Satisfactory".
